Fill cocktail shaker with ice. Add 1 1/2 ounces Bourbon, 1 ounce apple cider, 1/2 ounce lemon juice and 1/2 ounce maple syrup. It was really hard to choose just two, but I thought these represented the heart of Illinois and both tasted delicious made at home.
