The Waterfront Blues Festival takes place every year over July 4th weekend. This year in Portland Oregon enjoy four days of Blues Saturday. Waterfront Park, along the west bank of the Willamette River in downtown Portland is the place to be. A day by the water is always a great day.

Shore Leave Convention is taking place Friday July 7th though Sunday July 9th in Baltimore, Maryland. Texas Author Con is a can’t miss event scheduled to take place Friday July 14th and Saturday July 15th. Every year artists and fans gather in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex to meet each other. Have you met the author of a book you really enjoy? I have! It is such an amazing experience to meet the artists, talk about their work and get their autograph on their latest masterpiece! Do you like whisky? I sure do, so a day of whisky and live music is definitely going on my to do list for July! My autocorrect wants to keep adding an “e” into whisky. The grains used with in the liquid gold determine the spelling of the word. I am a fan of either spelling, its all about the taste me. Pendelton Whisky Music Festival is taking place in Pendleton, Oregon on Saturday July 15, 2023.
