Hello and Welcome to this week’s featured Travel Destination Guide: Can’t Miss Events – New York. I am sharing non-New York City events this post. Conventions and Film Festivals are aplenty in New York State. I may create another blog post featuring all events New York City, they deserve their own blog post. Travel with me to a few of my favorite, not in New York City, Can’t Miss Events – New York.
Salt City Comic Con – Syracuse New York
1. Salt City Comic Con is an annual pop culture event. This can’t miss event takes place at the New York Fairgrounds Expo Center. That’s over 45,00 square feet of comics, cosplay, gaming and all things sci-fi fantasy.
2. SCCC’s next event is scheduled to take place July 3-4, 2021. Adult VIP tickets are $231. Adult Weekend tickets are $79. Adult Single Day Saturday tickets are $38.

Rochester International Film Festival – Rochester New York
1. Rochester International Film Festival has been sharing amazing works of art sine 1959. The website states it is one of the longest running short film festivals in the world. Films are shown in The Dryden Theater located in Rochester, New York.
2. RIFF’s next event is scheduled to take place May 6 – 8, 2021. Admission is FREE to view featured films, animated films, documentaries, and more.

Cradle Con – Garden City New York
1. Cradle Con is all things comic book culture. Artists, Authors, Collectors, Vendors and so much more.
2. Garden City’s next event is scheduled to take place May 15 – 16, 2021. Adult (13 years or older) Weekend tickets are $25. Kids (2 years old to 12 years old) Weekend tickets are $12.

Lake Placid Film Festival – Lake Placid New York
1. Another Can’t Miss Event is the Lake Placid Film Festival. LPFF brings the best domestic and international films and filmmakers to the Adirondack region annually.
2. Lake Placid Film Festival’s next event is scheduled to take place on October 21 – 24, 2021. At door ticket prices are $15 per person.

Thank you for traveling with me through Can’t Miss Events – New York. The creative artistry is something that can be seen and discovered throughout New York. Cradle Con in Garden City during Springtime is breathtaking inside and outside of the event. Lake Placid Film Festival with Autumn as its backdrop is another breathtaking event inside and out.
