New Jersey Themed Cocktails

Hello and welcome to my latest blog post New Jersey Themed Cocktails. New Jersey has a rich history and is known for many things. Its stunning coastline, beautiful countryside, and bustling cities. But did you know that the state is also home to some amazing cocktails. Read on as I share a few of my favorite New Jersey Themed Cocktail recipes.

The Jersey Shore Martini

Nestled along the eastern coast of New Jersey lies a picturesque region known as the Jersey Shore. With its pristine sandy beaches, vibrant boardwalks, and charming coastal towns, the Jersey Shore is a beloved destination for both locals and tourists alike.

To create your own Jersey Shore in a glass fill cocktail shaker with ice. Add 2 ounces vodka, 2 ounces pineapple juice and 2 ounces cranberry juice. Cover and shake until shaker is frosty and most of the ice has melted. Strain ingredients into chilled martini glass. Garnish with lime as desired.

The Broadwalk Breeze

The New Jersey Boardwalk is a true icon of American culture. It is a stretch of beachside land that is dedicated to fun, relaxation, and exploration. From the sights and sounds of the bustling Boardwalk to the tranquil beauty of the ocean, this recipe brings that little bit of Jersey to your glass!

Add 2 ounces of pineapple juice, 2 ounces of coconut rum, and 1 ounce blue curaçao into cocktail shaker filled with ice. Cover and shake until shaker becomes frosty and most of the ice has melted. Strain ingredients into cocktail glass filled with ice. Top off with lemon lime soda and garnish with lemon or lime as desired.

The Princeton Sour

Princeton, New Jersey is an enchanting city that exudes both historical significance and modern charm. The city boasts a rich cultural tapestry, with an abundance of art galleries, museums, and theaters that showcase its vibrant artistic scene. And don’t forget the blueberries!

For your new favorite sweet and tart cocktail muddle 2 ounces of blueberries in a cocktail shaker. Add 2 ounces bourbon, 2 ounces lemon juice and 1 ounce simple syrup. Cover and shake until shaker becomes frosty and most of the ice has melted. Strain ingredients into cocktail glass filled with ice. Garnish with lemon as desired.

The Newark Cocktail

Newark, New Jersey, often referred to as the “Gateway City,” is a vibrant and diverse metropolis with a rich history and a promising future. From its historic neighborhoods to its thriving arts scene, Newark offers a unique blend of culture, innovation, and community spirit. Cheers to Newark and the Newark Cocktail!

Fill cocktail shaker with ice. Add 2 ounces rye whiskey, 2 ounces sweet vermouth, 2 ounces port wine and a dash of bitters. Cover and shake until shaker becomes frosty and most of the ice has melted. Strain ingredients into chilled martini glass. Garnish with lemon as desired.

The Atlantic City Iced Tea

Atlantic City, New Jersey, known for its iconic boardwalk and lively casinos, is a popular seaside destination on the East Coast. With the city offering a little something for everyone, I wanted to share this twist on the classic Long Island Iced Tea. The Atlantic City Iced Tea is great way to celebrate the energy of Atlantic City.

Add 1 ounce of gin, 1 ounce tequila, 1 ounce white rum, 1 ounce vodka, 1 ounce triple sec, 1 ounce lemon juice and 1 ounce simple syrup to cocktail shaker filled with ice. Cover and shake until shaker becomes frosty and most of the ice has melted. Strain ingredients into Collin’s glass, top off with cola and garnish with lemon.
