In the United States, some of the most famous and iconic bridges hold a special place in my heart.

Benson Bridge Oregon

Benson Bridge in Oregon is a picturesque and iconic landmark that offers breathtaking views of the Multnomah Falls and the surrounding Columbia River Gorge. This historic bridge, constructed in 1914, allows visitors to get up close and personal with the cascading waterfall, creating a magical experience that is both serene and awe-inspiring.

Brooklyn Bridge New York

The Brooklyn Bridge is an iconic symbol of New York City. Spanning the East River and connecting Manhattan to Brooklyn, it was the world’s first suspension bridge. It took over 14 years to build and was considered a marvel of engineering. Today, the bridge is not only a popular tourist destination but also a vital transportation link between the two boroughs, utilized by thousands of commuters every day.

Walking across the bridge provides stunning views of the cityscapes and is a must-do activity for anyone visiting NYC. Although they had me at the architecture!

Golden Gate Bridge California

The Golden Gate Bridge is a icon of San Francisco, California. The bridge spans across the Golden Gate Strait and connects the city to Marin County. It’s unique orange color is now recognized worldwide. At the time of opening, in 1937, it was the longest suspension bridge in the world. Today, it remains a popular tourist destination and a symbol of American engineering and innovation.

Whether you drive, bike, or walk across, the Golden Gate Bridge provides stunning views of the San Francisco Bay. You might leave your heart in San Francisco, I know I did ❤️

London Bridge Arizona

London Bridge Arizona is a unique landmark located in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Surprisingly, it is not the original London Bridge, but rather the reconstructed version of the 1831 London Bridge. In the 1960’s, the old London Bridge was purchased and transported stone by stone to Arizona. It was reassembled and now stands as a testament to the city’s creativity and extravagance.

The bridge serves as a popular tourist attraction, offering breathtaking views of Lake Havasu and serving as a backdrop for various events and festivals. London Bridge Arizona is a fascination piece of history and a reminder of the unexpected places to find a little piece of England. London Bridges might fall down, but Arizona builds it up again!
