A Year of Whiskey 2024

The Scottish National Whisky Festival takes place in Glasgow on January 27, 2024. Their website states they celebrate the historical relationship that exists between whisky and Celtic music culture.They had me at whiskey tasting but I do love live music! General Admission Tickets are $51.62 (GPB) or $65.02 USD plus fees, at the time of this post, exchange rates do change, so the price might change a bit. Learn more and buy your tickets here.

Whisky Wonderland is scheduled to take place February 22 – February 24, 2024 in Hammond, Ontario. The Hammond Golf & Country Club will be hosting classes, live music, special dinners (depending on your ticket choice), tastings, vendors (I love meeting the makers) and so much more. It is a Wonderland after all.

VIP Weekend Ticket Packages are $650.00 plus booking fees and taxes. Their website does not state what currency is showing for the ticket prices. The VIP Weekend ticket includes Thursday Dinner, Friday Lunch, Master Classes, early entry and more.

Tickets for General Admission (Saturday only) are $115.00 plus fees and tax. GA Tickets offer entry 4 – 7pm, food, cocktails, a bag and more.

New Orleans Bourbon Festival is going to let the good times roll March 20 – March 24, 2024. Depending on your ticket choice you will be able to participate in a Bourbon brawl, judge the whiskey competition, attend the welcome party, attend classes, and don’t forget the tastings! Tasting bourbon, eating delicious food and enjoying New Orleans, yes please! My birthday month is March and this one is high on my must see and taste list! Ultimate VIP Tickets (you will get to be one of the judges for the whiskey competition) are $579.00 plus fees. Only 50 of these tickets will be sold. So get your now!

Grand Tasting tickets for both Friday and Saturday are $249 plus fees.

The Detroit Bourbon Fest is happening Saturday, April 6th. This Fest will feature over 200 whiskeys to taste, food trucks, live music and more. It is a Fest after all! Whiskey Live Dublin will be taking place May 17 – May 18, 2024. There are several session times on both dates, I usually choose my session based on the classes I can attend. General Admission Friday May 17, 2024 session 1330 – 1700 tickets are $48.46 (EURO) or $52.15 (USD) plus fees. Again, exchange rates will change so tickets prices might go up or down depending on your time of purchase.

Baltimore Whiskey Riot is scheduled to take place June 8, 2024 in, you guessed it, Baltimore. Their website states this festival offers samplings of hundreds of whiskeys (over 200), seminars and fantastic conversations with whiskey lovers, distillers, brand founders and more to arm you with the tools you need to become a whiskey expert.

General Admission tickets are $90 and includes a tasting glass and a variety of cocktails for purchase.

Belfast Whiskey Week is scheduled to take place July 19 – July 27, 2024. There are over 100 events to attend in 9 days, no you can’t be in two places at once and will need to make some tough decisions. Some of those decisions will include classes, tastings, tours and more. The week of events ends with a dinner where industry greats are acknowledged and awarded. The cost of attending one of the many events depends on the type of event and its location. Wine and Spot Whiskey pairing tickets were $60 (GPB) or $75.33 (USD) to attend in 2023. 2024 prices are not on their website at this time. For updates visit their website

Whiskies of the World will take place in Boston August 24, 2024. Their website states they are the largest whiskey tasting event in the United States. With over 200 vendors pouring their wares, I tend to believe them.

Tickets for their 2024 event are not on the website at the time of this post. I will share 2023 prices: General Admission $125 and includes tastings, food and a souvenir glass. The Kentucky Bourbon Festival will take place September 13 – September 15, 2024 in the Bourbon capital of the world. At least that is what their website says, Bardstown, Kentucky is the Bourbon capital of the world! September is National Bourbon Heritage Month. Bourbon capital, Bourbon month, cheers to bourbon! 3 Day Weekend Passes are $175 and include souvenir glass, over 50 distilleries to taste, a variety of food and so much more. Sunday Only Passes are $95.

Great American Whiskey Fair is scheduled to take place on October 4, 2024. Whiskey to taste. Food to eat. Cigars to smoke. There is nothing better than a dram of whiskey and a hand rolled cigar, am I right?!

General Admission tickets are $90 plus fees. GA tickets include entry at 5:30 pm and whiskey tastings. Vendors will be selling their wares. VIP Admission tickets are $150 plus fees. The Whiskey, Wine and Wildlife Festival is scheduled to take place November 7 – November 10, 2024 in Vilano Beach, Florida. Their website states the festival offers a unique blend of entertainment and education. Wine tastings. Whiskey tastings. Live music. Chef demonstrations. Beach views and salty hair, just don’t care!
