Get tickets here. Prices vary depending on the type of experience you desire. General Admission Final Tier tickets are $80 plus fees. VIP Cabana tickets are $4,800 plus fees. And there are tickets for everything in between.

Fan Expo New Orleans takes place January 5 – January 7, 2024 in, you guessed it, New Orleans. Their website states this can’t miss event is the ultimate go-to event for sci-fi, horror, anime and gaming.

An outdoor beer festival in January, what were they thinking? Well, it is being held in San Diego. We all know the weather will be as amazing as the 200 beers to taste. San Diego Brew Festival is happening January 6, 2024 at Liberty Station from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm depending on which ticket you purchase. Photo courtesy of San Diego Brew Festival.

General Admission tickets get you through the gates at 1:00 pm tickets and cost $50. General Admission includes unlimited samples from over 70 breweries, live music, food trucks and so much more.

Early Admission tickets get you through the gates at 12:00 and cost $65. Early Admission includes all of the things that come with a General Admission ticket, plus an additional hour to eat, drink and be merry. This special ticket also offers specialty beers for the first hour.

Chattacon is an annual science fiction convention taking place January 12 – January 14, 2024, in, you guessed it, Chattanooga. Spend your weekend with Literary Guest of Honor Mary Robinette Kowal, Artist Guest of Honor Sarah Clemens and many more. Artwork, vendors, panels, workshops, and more. Chattacon has something for everyone (including after hours shenanigans).

Another Can’t Miss Event taking place outside for you to soak up some Vitamin D and Sip on some Brews, Copper State Brew Festival. January 13, 2024 in Mesa, Arizona is where you need to be. Their website states they are the largest craft beverage & food festival in Mesa. This Brew Festival offers beer, ciders, hard kombucha, meads, spirits and wine. And don’t forget about the food trucks, and live entertainment. I can already picture myself there; the sunshine (much needed after a winter in the Pacific Northwest), the beer (or cider, or mead, or all of the above) and the live music! Love live music! Tomorrow Never Knows or TNK, is a city wide can’t miss event happening January 17 – January 21, 2024. Their website states they gather the best of rising local indie artists as well as acclaimed national acts, including both musicians and comedians. Chicago venues hosting include GMAN Tavern, Lincoln Hall, Schubas, and Sleeping Village.

COSine takes on a more literary approach to all things sci-fi and fantasy. This can’t miss event will be held January 19 – January 21, 2024 in Colorado Springs. COSine showcases artists, authors, creators, gamers, and more. Did I mention there is author signing (I love meet and greets!) and, are you sitting down, liquid nitrogen ice‑cream! Groove Cruise is setting sail January 24 – January 28, 2024 and traveling from Miami to the Bahamas. Their website states Groove Cruise is the largest premier floating dance music festival. If this boat is rocking!

Well, the music festival takes plae on a cruise and cruises take months to prepare and plan and pay. Currently all staterooms are SOLD OUT. There is a waitlist you can be placed on and notified if something becomes available. You may not be able to choose the location of the room, but you would have a room.
