I am trying to hold onto summer for a bit longer. Are you? This tasty cocktail is sunshine in a glass. It is so bright and tasty its making me forget it is raining outside right now :/
Fill cocktails shaker with ice. Add 1 ounce bourbon, 1 ounce citrus vodka, 1 ounce peach schnapps, 2 ounces orange juice and 2 ounces sweet and sour mix. Cover and shake until shaker becomes frosty and most of the ice has melted. Strain ingredients into cocktail glass filled with ice. Garnish with oranges as desired.
Baltimore Zoo Cocktail
The Baltimore Zoo Cocktail is as tasty as it is refreshing. With multiple spirits added to create this glass of awesome it has something for everyone.
Add 1 ounce gin, 1 ounce vodka, 1 ounce rum, 1 ounce cointreau, 1 ounce peach liqueur, 1 ounce amaretto and 2 ounces sweet and sour mix to cocktail shaker filled with ice. Cover and shake until shaker becomes frosty and mos of the ice has melted. Strain ingredients into Collins glass filed with ice. Top off with your favorite ale. So many delicious flavors all in one place, I am sure it will be your new favorite.
Fill one of your favorite glasses with ice. Add 2 ounce rye whiskey and 1 ounce lime juice. Stir well. Top off your favorite glass with ginger beer and stir not so well. Mix the ingredients but don’t flatten the carbonation. Garnish with limes are desired.
I choose to use a Mason jar to create this cocktail. I know most places / people use the copper mugs but I wanted to be able to show off this tasty, bubbly cocktail. Do you have a favorite cocktail creating / drinking glass?
Maryland Maple Cocktail
Don’t let the sweetness fool you. This Maryland Themed Cocktail packs quite a punch.
Fill cocktail shaker with ice. Add 2 ounces tequila, 2 ounces triple sec, 1 ounce cinnamon maple syrup and 1 ounce lemon juice. Cover and shake until shaker becomes frosty and most of the ice has melted. Strain ingredients into cocktail glass filled with ice. Garnish with lemons as desired.
