Hello and welcome to my Best February Themed Cocktails blog post. Here I share cocktail recipes for a Passion Fruit Martini, a Passion Tea Cocktail, a Red Velvet Martini and a Chocolate Kiss. So many tasty treats to enjoy on your own, or with your Valentine. These February Themed Cocktail recipes had me at chocolate!
Passion Fruit Martini
Fill cocktail shaker with ice. Add 2 ounces cherry brandy, 2 ounces dry vermouth and 1 ounce passion fruit syrup. Cover and shake until shaker becomes frosty and most of the ice has melted. Strain ingredients into chilled Martini glass. The syrup is heavier than the spirits and will settle to the bottom of your glass quickly. I recommend stirring before drinking to keep the ingredients mixed or just drink quickly!
Passion tea Cocktail
Add 2 ounces vodka, 2 ounces peach schnapps and 2 ounces passion tea into shaker filled with ice. Cover and shake until shaker becomes frosty and most of the ice has melted. Strain ingredients into cocktail glass filled with ice. This has become my favorite summertime beverage. I love Tazo Passion Tea and creating this tasty cocktail reminds me of summer. Yes, in Seattle at the time of this post it is NOT summer, but a girl can dream!
Red Velvet Martini
Fill cocktail shaker with ice. Add 2 ounces Red Velvet Bailey’s Irish Cream, 2 ounces vodka, 2 ounces heavy cream and 2 ounces white chocolate liqueur. Cover and shake until shaker becomes frosty and most of the ice has melted. Strain ingredients into chilled Martini glass. A friend gifted me a bottle of Red Velvet Bailey’s Irish Cream for the holidays. I am so glad they did! The Red Velvet Martini is the perfect Valentine’s Day cocktail or anytime you want to drink your dessert!
Chocolate Kiss
Add 2 ounces Bailey’s Irish Cream, 2 ounces Frangelico, 2 ounces Kahlua, 1 ounce heavy cream and 1 ounce orgeat syrup. Cover and shake until shaker becomes frosty and most of the ice has melted. Strain ingredients into cocktail glass filled with ice. Life is a box of chocolates but, I prefer my chocolate in a cocktail glass! Cheers to chocolate kisses!
