Can’t Miss March 2024 Events

Horror Realm Con is a can’t miss annual event that will take place March 1 – March 3, 2024 in Pittsburgh, PA. I am such a big horror genre fan. Not so much the blood and gore kind of horror (although I do own all of the Friday the 13th movies). I love – the call is coming from inside your house kind of horror.

If you are a fan of the film House of 1,000 Corpses then Horror Realm Con is the place you need to be. Special celebrity guests Gregg Gibbs (Doctor Wolfenstein) and Bill Moseley (Otis) will be making an appearance to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the film’s release.

Gulf Coast Beer and Bacon Festival takes place March 2, 2024 in Gulfport, MS. They had me at Beer and Bacon but this year they are adding Chocolate and Barbecue! This Can’t Miss March 2024 Event will host over 40 breweries and restaurants to get your taste on and make your tummy happy. Beer tastings. Cocktail tastings. Food tastings. Awesome Con is an annual pop culture convention that takes place March 8 – March 10, 2024 in Washington, D.C. This can’t miss event is run by fans for fans. There is something for everyone: celebrity guests, cosplay, gaming, movies and more. See all that Awesome Con has in store here.

South by Southwest (abbreviated as SXSW) will take place in Austin, Texas March 8 – March 16, 2024. This Can’t Miss March 2024 Event is over a week of film, media, music and tech all rolled into one. Texas Furry Fiesta is scheduled to take place March 14 – March 17, 2024 in Dallas, Texas. Being held in Dallas means its going to be BIG! Their website states they are the 4th largest Furry Event in the world! Told you it was big. This can’t miss event shares anthropomorphic arts and crafts, panels, workshops, music and more. Fursuits are encouraged, but not required.

Reggae Rise Up is an annual music festival taking place March 14 – March 17, 2024 in St. Petersburg, FL. Are you ready for Good times and Positive vibes with this Can’t Miss March 2024 Event? Then you need to go to Florida. Are you a fan of Dirty Heads? (they are my son’s favorite band). Lupe Fiasco? (saw them at Coachella, their stage show is amazing). The Original Wailers? MidSouthCon is a yearly can’t miss event taking place March 22 – March 24, 2024 in Olive Branch, MS. 3 miles from Memphis, TN as the crow flies. Its website states it is the longest running fan-run multi-genre Science Fiction Convention in the Mid-South. The convention shares anime, comic books, cosplay, gaming and more. Authors are present to not only sell their books but autograph them for you. I love the autograph part! Their Art Show and Charity Auction are a must see and buy special feature.

Wild West Brewfest takes place March 21 – March 23, 2024 in Katy Texas. Their website states they are the top Beer Festival in North America and their theme this year is: The Good, The Craft and The Beer. The festival boasts over 100 different breweries to taste and enjoy. Beer is not all that the festival is know for but, I do recommend attending the brewer’s competition. Norwescon takes place March 28 – March 31, 2024 in Seattle, WA. Their website states this can’t miss event is one of the largest regional science fiction and fantasy conventions in the United States. Remember I’ve said I love getting autographs of the authors whose books I buy, well, this is the place! Norwescon, first and foremost is a literary convention. The number of books to buy, authors to meet and autographs to get is amazing! I bring an extra bag to carry my new treasures home with me. There is also comics, cosplay, gaming, after hours parties and more. But you can guess what my favorite part is! Learn ore about the special guests, vendors, panels and more here.

Phoenix Lights will take place March 29 – March 30, 2023 in Phoenix, AZ. If you are a fan of house music this is the place for you! And aliens. If you are a fan of aliens. The festival is named after lights appearing in the sky over Phoenix in 1997. The theme of the festival is full of intergalactic lights, music and more. Costumes are highly encouraged.
