Fan Expo New Orleans
Formerly known as Wizard World, Fan Expo New Orleans is now a Can’t Miss Event for all fans of Anime, Comics, Gaming, Sci-Fi, and so much more. Fan Expo New Orleans will take place January 6-8, 2023 at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Center. It is a family friendly spectacular with cosplay, celebrity guests, photo ops and Q & A sessions. 30A Songwriters Festival
The 30A Songwriters Festival will take place January 13 – 16, 2023 at over 30 venues along the 30A Resort Corridor. This Corridor, on the Gulf of Mexico, is located in Northern Florida will host over 200 artists, and over 200 performers. So much music. The talent. And don’t forget the cocktails with little umbrellas in them! Headline artists include Lyle Lovett, Gin Blossoms and Steve Earle but, with over 200 artists performing there is something for everyone. Villain-Tine’s Day
Villain-Tine’s Day is presented by Lunnatix.com and will take place January 13, 2023 at the Central Florida Fairgrounds. Looking for something dark and twisted? This is the place! What’s in store? Double feature movies showing Scream at 1830 and The Shining at 2115. 50 of the most villainy vendors and artists. Food and drinks, including adult beverages! Homesick Festival
The Homesick Festival Can’t Miss Event will take place January 20 – 21, 2023 at the UC Theater in Berkeley, California. This festival was created by Ceremony’s guitarist, Anthony Anzaldo 5 years ago and is still running strong. Ready to uncover some of the underground artists that will be performing? Central Florida Comic Con
Celebrities, check. Comics, check. Cosplay, check. Film, check. Central Florida Comic Con has all the nerdy stuff and more! This Can’t Miss Event will take place January 21 – 22, 2023 at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland, Florida. I am seeing a strong Power Rangers theme. The Rock Boat Festival
Your Rock Boat Can’t Miss Event will start on January 23, 2023 in Miami, Florida. Five days on the water, or not. Four ports to explore – Miami, Puerto Plata, Nassau and back to Miami. I’m counting Miami twice! Water time. Beach time. And with over a dozen artists performing throughout the cruise, there will definitely be music time. At the time of this post The Rock Boat had officially sold the last open stateroom. There is a wait list you be be placed on if you are still interested in attending. Find updates here. Days of the Dead Atlanta
This Can’t Miss Event is scheduled to take place January 27 – 29, 2023 at the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel. Days of the Dead Atlanta will be a little dark, a little scary and a whole lotta fun! Their website states Days of the Dead is chock full of special events tailored just for the fans, an active after hours scene of horror themed parties, and a massive guest list of the hottest celebrity guests, artists, and up and coming independent film makers. Who could ask for anything more?! Well…… did I mention Malcolm McDowell is one of the special celebrity guests! I, still to this day, am unable to watch all the way through Clockwork Orange without pausing at least once and stepping away for a moment. Am I the only one?! Can’t Miss January 2023 Events
Thank you for joining me as we discovered Can’t Miss Events January 2023. There are so many exciting events coming our way! A great way to start the year I would say.
