Grand Canyons

Grand Canyon National Park covers over 1,900 miles of amazing adventures. There are three Rims to access the Park. The South Rim offers free hop on hop off shuttles, park ranger tours and concession stands. The South Rim had me at FREE shuttle. Curving Bends

Horseshoe Bend is officially part of the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. It is better known though, as the East Rim of the Grand Canyon. This hiking/running/walking trail is less then 2 miles out and back. The trail is ranked for all skill levels and is open year round. I love when the view is worth the hike!

Upper Canyons and Lower Canyons

Upper Antelope Canyon and Lower Antelope Canyon are both grouped in as part of the East Rim of the Grand Canyon. Antelope Canyon officially is part of the Navajo Nation Parks and is only accessible via a tour guide. Please visit www.navajonationparks.org or click here for hours, history and so much more.

The City of Sedona

Several adventures to discover in and around Sedona are: Red Rock State Park. Sedona’s vibrant artistic community. With breathtaking landscapes some areas are worth painting, or photographing or. Many amazing local wineries serving local wine made from local grapes. And the biggest adventure of all are the numerous vortexes to be found and experienced throughout the area. Water Falls

Havasu Falls is a waterfall that gets its start from Havasu Creek located within the Grand Canyon. It’s one of the more well known and most visited falls from Havasu Creek. Standing over 90 feet tall and ending in a breathtaking blue green swimming hole, I can see why it is so popular. Make sure you bring your swimsuit.

London Bridge

London Bridge, at least this London Bridge, is located in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. The original London Bridge in London was purchased from the City of London, cut into pieces and transported to Arizona in 1968. It re-opened in 1971 and connects an island in the Colorado River to Lake Havasu City. For more history and tour information visit www.londonbridgetour.com or click here.

Discovering Planets

Lowell Observatory is located in Flagstaff, Arizona. In 1894 the Observatory came to be. In 1930 the Observatory discovered a dwarf planet, later known as Pluto. So much history. So much to discover. Visit www.lowell.edu or click here to find more history, tours, and maybe a new planet.

UFO Museums

Area 66, once the home of a real estate scam, is now a museum showcasing UFOs. The museum, under current ownership, is dedicated to the site of an alleged UFO crash in 1953. The large orb is hard to miss from the highway, easy to get to, and is a great photo opportunity to create memories and stories to tell of your travels. Corner in Winslow Arizona

Standin’ on the Corner Park and Mural in Winslow, Arizona. The Park opened in 1999 and commemorates the song “Take It Easy” written and song by the Eagles. Ron Adamson and John Pugh created the amazing bronze statue, and the mural of Girl in a Flatbed Ford respectfully.
