Celebrate Can’t Miss Events – King Con. Explore science, art, and gaming at King Con 2021. Mark your calendars to attend this October 30 and 31st! The location of this year’s King Con is the prestigious Hyatt Regency. Located at Lake Washington in Renton, Washington. This event will be limited in the number of attendees and enhanced safety protocols. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination(s) and/or a negative test result required upon entry. It’s still sure to be one for the books.

King Con’s mission: “Where science rules and offers you a world beyond your imagination.” Spend the weekend learning more about our world and what makes it tick. Scientia realm, where you can invent your own robot. Or dive deep into the world of artificial intelligence. And even explore space right from the halls of the convention.
Innovatia
Scientia is the showcase for all things science. Innovatia’s realm is the best place to let your imagination take flight! Filled with inventors. Amazing artists. And creative writers. Here, you can meet builders, cosplayers, and artists. Explore fantasy worlds filled with dragons, fairies, giant robots, and more!
Adventia
Adventure and excitement galore await you in Adventia! With the magic of eSports experience the grandeur of a majestic castle. Explore the depths of a pitch-black dungeon. Find yourself in the midst of a spectacular battlefield. Experience the thrill of a race course and more. Discover the Adventia realm of King Con.
A Fabulous Roster of Special Guests
Apart from specially designed realms fit for every fan, you can meet and greet some of the best in their respective industries. You can witness builders and makers complete fresh new creations. Watch and try new techniques for prop making and costume design. Science enthusiasts can get more in-depth insight from talking with scientists. Here are some of the guests you can expect from King Con’s star-studded roster:
Steven C Smith
Steven C. Smith is NASA’s newest Education Specialist. He is currently working with NASA’s Educator Professional Development Collaborative. The Collaborative is at the Johnson Space Center. With his work, Steven aims to inspire professionals to further develop their STEM careers. He also teaches teachers to make science easier and more fun to learn.
Beverly Downen
Beverly Downen is an award-winning cosplay creator and the mastermind behind Downen Creative Studios. Throughout her career, she has worked with: SiliCon, Marvel, PlaidFX, Smooth-On, and Worbloa. She has also guested at several prestigious conventions across the United States. Equipped with the latest techniques in prop-making and costume design, Beverly will be sharing her experience in the field during King Con 2021.

Talk about a power couple! This world-renowned cosplay couple are especially skilled with couture cosplay. Known for creating designs based on pop culture. They have been around the world hosting workshops and judging contests. And they have even won cosplay contests themselves. With 20 years of experience, this dynamic duo can definitely provide valuable knowledge in developing kick-ass costumes and props.
emily levesque
As an astronomy professor at the University of Washington, Emily Levesque has spent much of her time observing the heavens through some of the largest telescopes on the planet. She is also an award-winning author and a multi-awarded academic, making her one of the most knowledgeable individuals in the field of astronomy.
Where to Get Tickets
Kids aged 10 and under can enter King Con 2021 for free. You can also secure family passes, one-day passes, and two-day passes. Students can also grab tickets at a cheaper price.
