This week’s Convention’s Travel Destination Guide is all about Can’t Miss Conventions – Nebraska and Nevada. Here I am sharing my top two favorite Geek Life events for two Amazing States.
OCon / O Comic Con / Omaha Comic Con – Can’t Miss Convention – Nebraska
OCon is a comic and pop culture annual convention held in the Omaha, Nebraska area.
1. OCon may be known by many names but it remains a down home, home grown expo full of comics, cosplay, gaming and all things pop culture.
2. Next event is scheduled November 5 – 7, 2021 and will be held at the Ramada Plaza Omaha Hotel and Convention Center. Tickets for 2021 are not posted to the website at the time of this post. Past conventions Adult 3 day ticket $40. Adult Single Day Saturday $25.

British Fest – Can’t Miss Convention – Nebraska
British Fest Convention takes place once a year and brings the UK to Omaha, Nebraska.
1. Fan of British Media? British Fest Convention is for you. Movies, TV Shows, Books, Podcasts, Sci Fi, Fantasy all from the UK!
2. Next event for British Fest has not been scheduled at the time of this post. Yeppers, 2020 is trying to ruin 2021 as well. Adult Three Day Tickets were $35. Adult Single Day Saturday Tickets were $25. Updates registration and prices will be posted to their website as the information becomes available.

Level Up Expo – Can’t Miss Convention – Nevada
Level Up Expo, or LUX takes place once a year at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Are you ready to level up?!
1. Level Up Expo is all about Anime, Comics, Cosplay and Gaming. Discover the latest and greatest gaming technology and gaming systems. There is something for everyone: Tournaments, Interactive Gaming and Giveaways!
2. Their next event is scheduled to take place April 23 – 28, 2021. Adult Weekend Tickets are $50. Saturday Only Tickets are $35. VIP Weekend Tickets are $100.

Day of the Dead Convention – Can’t Miss Convention – Nevada
Days of the Dead, an annual all things HORROR event held in several locations throughout the United States all year long. Atlanta, Chicago and Indianapolis can’t hold a candle, or ax, to the Las Vegas event!
1. Days of the Dead Conventions are created by fans for fans of horror. Artists, Celebrity Guests, Cosplay and Film Makers equal a fun filled exciting weekend.
2. Their next event is scheduled to take place May 14 – 16, 2021. Pre-sale Adult Weekend Tickets are $59.99. Adult Saturday Tickets are $30.99. Adult VIP Weekend Tickets are $169.99.
